Define a Problem
Some of the goals in this project is to:
1. be able to calculate trusses better
2. build a truss that withstands the most force
3. use MD solids better

Generate Concepts
Static Determinacy affected our design since they had to equal in the 2(J)=M+R formula. To estimate the force our design would support, we made the load a single 50lb on one point of each truss design. Since we are using very fragile sticks we thought 50 would be a pretty good estimation for the peak of the force needed to break a structure.
Develop a solution
Construct and test a prototype
Evaluate the solution
These numbers just show how efficient the truss is by comparing the force it withstood to the weight of the truss.
Present the solution
Conclusion
I think the truss failed because of the gluing problems we had when the truss broke before we tested it. This also didn't allow us to get an accurate place of where the truss was supposed to break because the glue popped of with just a little of force
I probably would have added a extra member in the open space of the truss to let it withstand more force. I also would have made the truss shorter so it wouldn't have as much stress on the side of the truss
